The Edward N. McNamara Terminal is the latest constructional addition to Detroit Airport, 20 miles southwest of Detroit itself. Cheap car hire at Detroit Airport can be booked for your convenience on arrival and luggage carts and can be located throughout the airport, to take your luggage to your awaiting transport.

Following an extended period when the airport's rating fell to a consistently lowly rank, all services are now much improved, due to last year's opening of the Edward N. McNamara Terminal. The airport now has three terminals and the McNamara Terminal has three concourses, the longest a full mile in length. They are linked by an underground tunnel.

McNamara's Concourse A also has an overhead tram and moving walkways. To enable passengers to get around both the airport and its terminals, there are free shuttle buses available. The shuttle buses also offer wheelchair access and the airport is also adapted to this end. Cheap car hire at Detroit Airport offers vehicles to suit all requirements.

Helpdesks are where passengers can find the assistance they need, green-shirted customer service representatives on hand to help passengers with all their enquiries.
