Larnaca is the busiest airport found in the southern part of Cyprus, it regularly handles over five million flyers through its terminal each year. It also acts a hub for onward travel to the Middle East. There is wide choice of cheap car hire at Larnaca Airport (LCA) to choose from.

A new management company took control of Larnaca Airport in 2005 in a 25 year deal and plans to lengthen the runway have been put in to handle larger aircraft. The first upgrade was complete in 2006 when the airport lounge was increased in size and two more luggage belts were added.

In the Arrivals hall there are a few amenities to help you on your way. An information stand is on hand with details of hotels and transportation. Mother and baby facilities are available at request. Cheap car hire at Larnaca Airport (LCA) is found in the Arrivals lobby.

The airport is well served by local road networks and Larnaca town can be reached by a short drive along the B4. Access to the major highway linking most of the island together is a ten minute drive away. Parking at the airport is provided by a 500 space car park of which the front area is reserved for disabled passengers.

Inside the airport a small collection of cafés and restaurants are found serving European food. In the departures area there is a bar and internet available. Cyprus Airways has private lounge with business facilities on hand. Budget car rental stands are located in the Arrivals hall along with a post office, ATMs and small choice of foreign currency exchange booths.
