Antalya Airport, or AYT, is a large modern airport that has been on the rise and now sees close to 20 million travellers pass through each year. Flights continue taking off and landing 24 hours. Sitting six miles from the city centre of Antalya, AYT is a gateway to the Turkish coast of the Mediterranean. Cheap car hire at Antalya Airport (AYT) is easy, affordable and a good option for getting around the region.

AYT has terminals for international, domestic, and cargo flights. Thirty-nine check-in counters are located in the main hall, with eight fully functioning gates scattered throughout the airport. Budget car rental and ATMs are available. A post office and a lost property office that also handles misplaced luggage are onsite. There is a few currency exchanges is in the Arrivals zone, but rates are slightly sub-par.

The Domestic and International zones have adequate restaurants, charming cafés as well as several fast food chain spots. There are some shops for clothing and a duty-free shop in the Departures area.

Cheap car hire at Antalya Airport (AYT) will give you good mobility when touring around the Mediterranean. A wide range of cars to suite every taste and budget are available.

Shuttles from the airport can be boarded outside of the Domestic Arrivals area, but only a few leave each day. Turkish Airlines' domestic flights have shuttles scheduled to meet them. The shuttles stop at a few hotels then the centre of Antalya. If you rent a car, get on the D400 from airport road. It will take you to the city. There are taxis available outside of the main terminal for a flat rate.
