The main railway station of Valencia Spain is known the North Station (Estacio del Nord/ Estacion del Norte). The station is located 200 meters from the city center, close by the famous “bullring”. The station can be accessed through bus lines 5 to 8, 10, 11, 14, 19, 40, 63 and 71 and through the Metro Xativa, Lines 3 and 5 and the Bailen line 5. The station is a gateway to the City of Arts and Sciences, that is, Valencia. Through the modern façade of the city lie the bits and pieces and loose ends of the city's unforgettable past. The station's main role is connecting Valencia to the key cities of Spain and Europe. The North Station is home to a number of trains, and serves connections mainly to Madrid and Barcelona.
