Kos Airport is the main air transport terminal and only international airport in Kos Island, Greece. Considered as the country's sixth most important airport in terms of passenger traffic, the airport handles around two million travellers every year. Cheap car hire at Kos Airport is a preferred mode of land transport of majority of these passengers.

Olympic Airways, which connects Kos Island to Athens, is the main airline that serves the airport. The airport is also connected to other European and Asian destinations via flights from other airlines such as Aegean Aviation, Air Holland, Belavia, Britannia, Condor, Cronus Airlines, Eurofly, Finnair, Israir, LTU International, Lufthansa, Novair Air. Sabre Airlines, and Virgin Express.

Kos Airport is relatively small and has only has two terminals, one each for Departures and Arrivals. Together, these two terminals contain a total of three baggage claim belts, five passenger gates, and 12 check-in gates. At present, there are some plants in the talk for expanding the Departures terminal.

The airport is rather limited in terms of facilities and passenger services. It has a police station for general assistance and a health care centre for medical emergencies. In addition, there is a duty free shop and a restaurant where passengers can pass time in between flights. There are also car rental agencies where travellers can hire cars to use while on the island.

Kos Airport is located on Hippocrates, which is 26 kilometres away from the town of Kos. Travelling to the town, Shuttle buses are available for passengers of Olympic flights while taxis are at hand for passengers of other airlines.
