Dijon Rail Station or Gare de Dijon Ville in French is the main station at the area of Dijon in the Cote-d'Or department, France. The station was built back in 1849 but was destroyed during World War II that's why the station that is currently in existence is a result of the rebuilding done in 1962. The station was inaugurated the same year and has been in operation since then. The station has a very strategic location, giving way to more than 400 train passes per day. Annually, the station serves about 5.8 million passengers, not to mention the number of goods and products that pass by it every year. The station is served by public transport and cheap car hire at the Dijon rail station is also available.

The station has 10 tracks trailed by almost 300 passenger trains per day. As a response to the calls for improvement of the mainline station, Gare de Dijon Ville now has easier parking and smoother pedestrian movement. Disabled passengers also have better access to the station. Improvements also include cycle parking, taxi ranks, designated spaces for car hire agencies, spaces for buses and coaches, and a multi storey parking.
